Like most of you, I was educated glorifying the ideals of Keynesian economic theories, capitalism and denigrating all other forms of 'isms'. Though I had an inkling of swadesi values thanks to the ghosts of nationalistic movements in my past, there wasnt much to practice. In reality, globalization had taken over much of my interactions with real world.
I had always wondered as to why I was always on the loosing end of any stock trade no matter which country I lived in. This analysis led to my masters which eventually made me understand that I am part of a matrix that my forefathers had fought so valiantly for at-least 5000 years.
The first and foremost documented instance of this matrix assimilation as documented in history was during the era of Muhammad-bin-thuglak. Hence this title of thuglakism.
How do you enslave a community for life?
You do that by making the community believe that their current state of slavery is in their best interest. The alternative is to use violence or power which has short term success but not a long term strategy. If you can get a community to believe that this is the best state that they can ever be, that working for you is in their best interest, you have a slave for life.
Such a community becomes the matrix feeding the master without questions. Without realizing that the master is enjoying of the fruits of your actions and that the fact that you are gainfully employed is its own blessing. You are taught to see the crores below you and that you should thank God for giving this opportunity in life to uplift yourself thru this pure work for the sake of work state.
Now we would all like to know that we are not part of this matrix - that it is the other people who slave hard and that we are liberated minds and can do anything by our free will.
Here is where I realized that no matter what or where, we all have been enslaved. Since the early 16th century we have all been enslaved by the same masters and still don't realize that we have little freedom. Little freedom just because we truly believe that we know better and that we are doing what we do out of free will.
Now how does thuglakism lead to slavery. I will continue in my next post.
